Cleaning Within a Live Clinical Environment
The project required ventilation hygiene cleaning within a fully operational NHS ward where patient care continued throughout the programme. Infection prevention and contamination control were critical, requiring close coordination with the Trust to ensure the works could be completed safely without impacting the clinical environment.
A carefully planned schedule was developed around ward activity, allowing sections of the ventilation system to be isolated and cleaned while maintaining strict infection control procedures throughout the project.

Controlled Ventilation Hygiene
Working alongside the Trust, our engineers followed an agreed programme of works designed to minimise disruption and maintain the highest standards of infection prevention. Specialist HEPA-filtered negative pressure equipment was used throughout the cleaning process to control airborne particulates and reduce the risk of contamination.
Every stage of the project was carefully documented, with detailed photographic evidence, site reports and compliance records produced to provide complete transparency throughout the works.
